Eater Chicago named Bartoli’s one of the Essential Deep Dish Pizza Restaurants in Chicago.
USA Today called Bartoli’s Chicago’s Best Pizza.
Food And Wine said it’s the Best Pizza in Chicago.
The critics aren’t wrong… Bartoli’s makes fantastic pizza. For this episode, I’m joined by Bartoli’s Owner/Founder Brian Tondryk. We talked about Bartoli’s place in Chicago pizza, and how a lot of Brian’s passion can be traced back to his grandfather Fred Bartoli: You know, the guy who created Gino’s East!
As we chatted, we ate a thin crust DIAVOLO (Soppressata , Capocollo, Ricotta, Calabrian Chilli Peppers , Mikes Hot Honey)...
… and a deep dish BARTOLI’S CHICAGO CLASSIC (Italian sausage, mushroom, onion and green pepper).
