It’s that time of year! Car Con Carne hit the road to visit the The Old Joliet Haunted Prison (401 Woodruff Rd, Joliet, IL 60432). Sharing in the spooktacular with me were James Farber and Patrick McDermott of local band James The Boneless .
We talked about our experiences walking through the attractions at the Old Joliet Prison, and dove into James’s story of heroin addiction and recovery. It’s harrowing stuff, and we’re lucky and grateful he came out on the other side.
Also: while we were talking in the car, the haunted house came to us. It was insane (in the best possible way).
