Dan Vapid's been around the punk rock block for decades now, creating indelible music with bands like Screeching Weasel, the Methadones, Riverdales, the Queers and Sludgeworth.
After road tripping across Illinois, he pulled up in front of the Forge in Joliet, got out of his car and jumped right into mine with Dan Vapid and the Cheats band members Simon and Dillon.
